This is the first of a series of albums (signed as F.ormal L.ogic D.ecay) entitled “Oxidierte Elektronik” (finally entitled “Oxyd”), dedicated to electronics and sonorities dated back to the time between the early 70s and mid 80s, being an integral part of my cultural background as a musician. I wanted to do it with an almost philological dedication, starting from the timbres choice (vintage instrumentation when possible or emulations of historical and to some extent inaccessible gears) up to the very analog and often improvised workflow.
Due to issues related to Covid, the album went to press two years later. Meanwhile I published some audio previews of the almost complete track-list here (and composed a new track listenable inside PRIVATE section): enjoy them.
PS: as always, I recommend to use headphones because of the audio frequency spectrum used.
Update: the album was released by the historic Dark Vinyl Records. Unfortunately I am alone in managing all my artistic activities (and I would be unable to delegate them to others anyway given my obsessive attention to detail…). Here then that updating all my channels every time I create something new for me becomes is a titanic undertaking. I hope to fix it soon.
